Nayan Indian Science & Technologies Pvt. Ltd, a company registered and headquartered at L-3 Ground Floor, South Extension – 2, New Delhi – 110049, India, hereinafter referred to as NAYAN (“us”, “we”, or “our”), operates https://nayan.co/ (hereinafter referred to as “Service”).
Our Privacy Policy governs your visit to https://nayan.co/ and explains how we collect, safeguard, and disclose information resulting from your use of our Service.
By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, the terms used here have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.
Our Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all use of our Service and, together with this Privacy Policy, constitute your agreement with us (“agreement”).

- Data Subject: The individual whose Personal Data is being processed.

Information Collection and Use
At NAYAN, we collect information to improve and personalize our services for all users. This includes both basic information, such as your language preferences, and more complex data to enhance your experience, such as the types of ads that are most relevant to you, your connections with others online, or the videos or any other data captured by your phone through our app.

1. Information you provide to Us
In order to use certain services, such as signing up for a NAYAN Account, you will be required to provide personal information. This may include:
- Name
- Email Address
- Telephone Number
- Credit Card Details (if applicable)
- Government-issued Identification (if required for specific services)
In certain instances, we may ask you to create a publicly visible Google Profile or Facebook Profile along with a NAYAN Profile, which may include your name and photo, to enable full use of our sharing features.
2. Information we receive from your use of our services
We collect data about the services you use and how you interact with them, such as when you watch a video on your phone or visit websites that use our advertising services. The types of information we collect include:
a. Device Information: We collect device-specific information, including hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information (such as phone number). NAYAN, Facebook, and Google may also associate this information with your Google Account.
b. Log Information: We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, we may collect data and information for diagnostic purposes, known as Log Data, in the event of an error within the app.
Log Data includes, but is not limited to, the following information:
- Your device’s Internet Protocol (IP) address
- Device name and model
- Operating system version
- Application configuration at the time of use
- Unique device identifiers
- The date and time of your usage of the Service
- Diagnostic information related to errors, alerts, and other runtime events
- Other statistical data related to your interaction with the app
We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in compliance with applicable laws, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 in India, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the UK and the EU, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Delaware Personal Data Privacy Act (DPDPA) in the US. This means we will only collect Log Data that is necessary for the performance of our Service, implement appropriate security measures to protect your data, and provide you with options regarding your data, including access, correction, and deletion.

c. Location Information: When using NAYAN services, or other services provided in relation to Google or Facebook in connection with NAYAN, we may collect and process location information using technologies such as IP address, GPS, Wi-Fi, and other sensors. This helps us identify nearby devices and access points and improve our services based on your location.
d. Unique Application Numbers: Certain services include a unique application number. This number, along with information about your installation (e.g., operating system type and version), may be sent to NAYAN during installation, uninstallation, or for periodic updates.
e. Local Storage: We may collect and store information locally on your device using technologies such as browser web storage (including HTML5) and application data caches. This information may include personal data.
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our partners use technologies such as cookies to collect and store information when you interact with NAYAN services. Cookies allow us to identify your browser or device, store preferences, and help improve your user experience. These technologies are also used to collect data when you interact with services offered by our partners, such as advertising services or features from Google and Facebook.
We use Google Analytics to analyze website and app traffic, and this information may be linked with other data related to visits to various sites, including ads served through our services.
4. Information Linked to your NAYAN Account
Information we collect when you are signed in to your NAYAN Account/Application for availing service(s), may be associated with your account and treated as personal information. This includes information collected directly from you, as well as data obtained from our partners.
5. Consent from the Data Principal
Please note that we shall ask for your explicit consent before collecting and storing any personal and/or identifiable information, including Log Data, device identifiers, or location data. You will be given the option to agree to the collection of this information as part of the service setup process, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.
6. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide, operate, and maintain our services.
- To improve, personalize, and expand our services.
- To communicate with you, including sending marketing and promotional materials (with your consent).
- To monitor usage and analyze trends.
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to legal requests.
Pursuant to applicable data protection laws, users are entitled to request the erasure of their personal profiles and any associated personally identifiable information (PII).
Such requests must be submitted via email to info@nayantech.com. Upon receipt of a verified deletion request, NAYAN undertakes to erase the specified data within 30 days, unless the retention of certain data is required for the fulfillment of legal obligations, resolution of disputes, or enforcement of agreements, as permissible under applicable laws.
This policy ensures the exercise of user rights as established under relevant legislative frameworks.
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Wherever possible and appropriate, we may pseudonymize your personal data to reduce risks associated with its retention, while still enabling us to fulfill our obligations and responsibilities.
In such cases, the pseudonymized data will be retained for analytical or compliance purposes, and we will ensure that it is securely stored and processed. You may request the deletion of your personal data at any time, subject to applicable legal retention requirements.
6. Rights of Data Principals under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA)
As a data principal (the individual whose data is being processed), you have the following rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA):
Right to Access: You have the right to access the personal data that we hold about you. You can request a copy of your personal data by contacting us at info@nayantech.com.
Right to Correction: If your personal data is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request its correction.
Right to Data Portability: You have the right to request the transfer of your personal data to another data controller, where applicable.
Right to Erasure: You may request the deletion of your personal data if it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or if you withdraw your consent. In certain cases, we may retain your data due to legal obligations.
Right to Restrict Processing: You may request the restriction of processing your personal data in certain circumstances, such as when you contest the accuracy of the data.
Right to Object: You may object to the processing of your personal data, particularly if we are processing it for marketing purposes or if it conflicts with your legitimate interests.
Right to Withdraw Consent: You can withdraw your consent at any time, which will not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to the withdrawal.
Right to lodge a Complaint: If you believe that your rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India (DPBI) or any other concerned Data Protection Board having lawful jurisdiction.
7. Data Breach Notification
We take the security of your personal data very seriously. In the event of a data breach that may result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India (DPBI) or any other relevant authority as per the jurisdiction promptly, as follows:
Notification to Data Principals: If the breach is likely to cause significant harm to you, we will inform you without undue delay. The notification will include details of the breach, likely consequences, and the measures we are taking to address it.
Notification to the Data Protection Authority: We will report any breach to the DPBI or any other relevant authority as per the jurisdiction within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, unless the breach is unlikely to result in harm.
Preventive Measures: We will take appropriate measures to investigate the breach, minimize any harm, and implement steps to prevent future breaches, such as enhancing our security protocols.
8. Service Providers
We may engage employ third-party companies and individuals to perform certain functions on our behalf, included but not limited to:
- Facilitate the provision of our Service;
- Providing the Service on our behalf;
- Perform Service-related functions; or
- Assisting us in analyzing the usage of our Service.
These third parties may have access to your personal data to the extent necessary to carry out their assigned tasks. However, they are bound by contractual obligations to maintain the confidentiality of such information and are prohibited from using or disclosing it for any other purpose, except as required by applicable law.

In addition, we may pseudonymize your personal data, which involves replacing identifiable information with pseudonyms (a unique code or identifier), in order to minimize risks associated with data breaches while still enabling data processing for necessary purposes.

Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. Children’s Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information as quickly as possible.
If you are a parent or guardian and you believe we have collected personal data from a child under the age of 13, please contact us immediately at info@nayantech.com so that we can take appropriate action.
How we use information we collect
We may use the name you provide for your NAYAN Profile across all of the services we offer that require a NAYAN Account. In addition, we may replace past names associated with your NAYAN Account so that you are represented consistently across all our services. If other users already have your email, or other information that identifies you, we may show them your publicly visible NAYAN Profile information, such as your name and photo.
When submitting violations to the police, other officials, organizations or individuals, your name and contact information may be shared with the concerned people to facilitate but not limited to awarding you with awards or gifts or other purposes or even to seek your help in acting as witness or testify in support of content share with NAYAN.
If you have a NAYAN Account, we may display your Profile name, Profile photo, and actions you take in connection with our services or on third-party applications connected to your NAYAN Account (such as +1’s, Likes, reviews you write and comments you post) in our services, including displaying in ads and other commercial contexts. We will respect the choices you make to limit sharing or visibility settings in your NAYAN or GOOGLE or FACEBOOK Accounts.
When you contact NAYAN, we keep a record of your communication to help solve any issues you might be facing. We may use your email address, or mailing address or phone number(s) to inform you about our services, delivering you information as required by authorities, such as letting you know about upcoming changes or a violation cited against you that needs your attention, among others.
We use information collected from cookies and other technologies, like pixel tags, to improve your user experience and the overall quality of our services. One of the products we use to do this on our own services is Google Analytics. For example, by saving your language preferences, we’ll be able to have our services appear in the language you prefer. When showing you tailored ads, we will not associate an identifier from cookies or similar technologies with sensitive categories, such as those based on race, religion, sexual orientation or health.
Our automated systems analyze your content (including videos, pictures, recordings) to provide you personally relevant product features, such as customized search results, tailored advertising, and spam and malware detection.
We may combine personal information from one service with information, including personal information, from other third-party services – for example to make it easier to share things with people you know. Depending on your account settings, your activity on other sites and apps may be associated with your personal information in order to improve NAYAN’s services and the ads delivered by NAYAN.
We will ask for your consent before using information for a purpose other than those that are set out in this Privacy Policy.
NAYAN processes personal information on our servers in many countries around the world. We may process your personal information on a server located outside the country where you live.
Information you share
Certain services allow you to share personal data publicly. You acknowledge that shared data may be indexed by search engines, including Google, and accessible to others. We provide tools to manage or remove your shared content, but sharing data publicly is at your own risk. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws and protecting your personal data
Accessing and updating your personal information
We strive to provide you with access to your personal data whenever you use our services. If your data is inaccurate or incomplete, we offer mechanisms to update or correct it promptly. You may also request the deletion of your personal data, except where retention is necessary to fulfill legitimate business purposes, comply with legal obligations, or for other permissible purposes under applicable law. Such requests can be submitted via the contact email or mailing address provided in this Privacy Policy.
To safeguard your personal data against accidental or malicious destruction, we may retain residual copies of deleted data on active servers for a limited period. Additionally, information may not be immediately removed from backup systems, as required to maintain the integrity and reliability of our services.

We do not share personal information with companies, organizations and individuals outside of Google unless one of the following circumstances applies:
With your consent
We will share personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of NAYAN when we have your consent to do so. We require opt-in consent for the sharing of any sensitive personal information; when you subscribe to NAYAN’s services.
With domain administrators
If your NAYAN Account is managed for you by a domain administrator (for example, for corporate users) then your domain administrator and resellers who provide user support to your organization will have access to your NAYAN Account information (including your email and other data). Your domain administrator may be able to:
- view statistics regarding your account, like statistics regarding applications you install.
- change your account password.
- suspend or terminate your account access.
- access or retain information stored as part of your account.
- receive your account information in order to satisfy applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request.
- restrict your ability to delete or edit information or privacy settings.

For external processing
We provide personal information to our affiliates or other trusted businesses or persons to process it for us, based on our instructions and in compliance with our Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
For legal reasons
We will share personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of NAYAN if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to:
- meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request.
- enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations.
- detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues.
- protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of NAYAN, our users or the public as required or permitted by law.
We may share non-personally identifiable information publicly and with our partners – like publishers, advertisers or connected sites. For example, we may share information publicly to show trends about the general use of our services.
If NAYAN is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, we will continue to ensure the confidentiality of any personal information and give affected users notice before personal information is transferred or becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Information security
We work hard to protect NAYAN and our users from unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of information we hold. In particular:
- We encrypt many of our services using SSL.
- We offer you two step verification or OTP when you access your NAYAN Account, and a Safe Browsing feature on web browsers equipped to handle SSL certificates.
- We review our information collection, storage and processing practices, including physical security measures, to guard against unauthorized access to systems.
- We restrict access to personal information to NAYAN employees, contractors and agents who need to know that information in order to process it for us, and who are subject to strict contractual confidentiality obligations and may be disciplined or terminated if they fail to meet these obligations.
When this Privacy Policy applies
Our Privacy Policy applies to all of the services offered by NAYAN INDIA and its affiliates, including, services NAYAN provides on Android devices, and services offered on other sites (such as our advertising services), but excludes services that have separate privacy policies and hence, do not incorporate this Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy does not apply to services offered by other companies or individuals, including products or sites that may be displayed to you in search results, sites that may include Google services, or other sites linked from our services. Our Privacy Policy does not cover the information practices of other companies and organizations who advertise our services, and who may use cookies, pixel tags and other technologies to serve and offer relevant ads.
Compliance and cooperation with regulatory authorities
We regularly review our compliance with our Privacy Policy. We also adhere to several self-regulatory frameworks, including the EU-US and Swiss-US Privacy Shield Frameworks and other similar frameworks in India. When we receive formal written complaints, we will contact the person who made the complaint to follow up. We work with the appropriate regulatory authorities, including local data protection authorities, to resolve any complaints regarding the transfer of personal data that we cannot resolve with our users directly.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page. If you do not agree to the modified terms or policies for a Service, you should discontinue your use of that Service. From time to time, solely at our discretion we may also post policy update notices to your registered communication channel(s) (email, phone, mailing address etc.), hence you are required to review this webpage for the newest policy by visiting the page periodically to ensure your rights, preferences and privileges are not compromised by any changes in service or terms of use of our services.
If there is a conflict between these terms and the additional terms, the additional terms will control for that conflict.
These terms control the relationship between NAYAN and you. They do not create any third-party beneficiary rights.
If you do not comply with these terms, and we don’t take action right away, this doesn’t mean that we are giving up any rights that we may have (such as taking action in the future).
If it turns out that a particular term is not enforceable, this will not affect enforceability of any other terms.
This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the Republic of India, without reference to its conflict of law rules. The courts at New Delhi will have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising out of or relating to this Agreement, and you and NAYAN consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts;
However, NAYAN INDIA has the exclusive right and may choose to not go to court and instead arbitrate the matter for expediency or other reasons. Under such a decision: Any dispute or difference whatsoever arising between the parties (meaning you and NAYAN INDIA), out of or relating to the construction, meaning, scope, operation or effect of this agreement or the validity or the breach thereof shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the Rules of Arbitration of the Indian Council of Arbitration and the award made in pursuance thereof shall be binding on the parties.
